Credit unions have a social responsibility to uphold the philosophy of “People Helping People” and to support their communities. But at Advance Financial, it’s more than that. You’ve allowed us to serve and be a part of this community for over 80 years. We’re extremely grateful and, therefore, we want to give back. Through sponsorship and a variety of donations, charitable events, financial literacy education programs and unique partnerships with local businesses and organizations, Advance Financial is committed to a better Northwest Indiana.

For over 15 years, Advance Financial has helped college-bound high school seniors turn their dreams of attaining a college degree into a reality by providing more than $80,000 in scholarships. Recipients are selected in recognition of their academic excellence and community support. We believe in the value of education and are proud to offer a scholarship program for our Lake and Porter County communities. As a community focused credit union, it is our mission to help others in need. Every January through May, we hold a fundraiser for the Riley Children’s Foundation which is the charitable organization for Indianapolis’ Riley Children’s Hospital. Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health is one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals. Expert, family-centered pediatric care is available at Riley for every child who needs it. Our gifts through Riley Children’s Foundation make it possible for Riley to conduct lifesaving pediatric research and enhance treatment for patients with family-centered services.
