Credit unions have a social responsibility to uphold the philosophy of “People Helping People” and to support their communities. But at Advance Financial, it’s more than that. You’ve allowed us to serve and be a part of this community for over 80 years. We’re extremely grateful and, therefore, we want to give back. Through sponsorship and a variety of donations, charitable events, financial literacy education programs and unique partnerships with local businesses and organizations, Advance Financial is committed to a better Northwest Indiana.

Tis' the season for giving! Adopt an 'Angel' and help brighten the holidays for a child in need this Christmas. Angel tags are available at each AFFCU office. Stop by and select an 'Angel'. Purchase a gift off their wishlist or something age appropriate. Return the gift unwrapped with the tag to either office by December 6. The Angel Tree program is sponsored by the Salvation Army of East Chicago. For more information please call Christina at 219-392-3900 ext. 3103.
Cell Phones For Soldiers is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services and emergency funding to active-duty military members and veterans. Since 2004, the charity has provided more than 400 million minutes of air time to servicemen and women deployed around the world, by recycling more than 25 million cell phones reducing the impact on landfills. Cell Phones For Soldiers uses proceeds from donated cell phones to purchase international calling cards for troops to call home and to provide emergency funding to veterans.
Advance Financial Federal Credit Union is proud to be an official drop-off location for Cell Phones for Soldiers.
