Are you an Assistant Branch Manager who is looking for your next career move? We are seeking an in-person Branch Manager for our Schererville, IN branch to join our team!
Please note that we are seeking individuals who are interested in a CAREER, not just a job.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the branch
- Monitor bargaining unit staff productivity and provide coaching and constructive feedback
- Provide professional and efficient member transaction processing and correspond with members and staff to correct service/operational issues
- Approve loan applications according to policy, serving as loan officer and check signer for the credit union
- Be knowledgeable of the Collective Bargaining Agreement to ensure all union employees are being treated equitably and as agreed upon
- Ensure the office displays a positive, professional and cooperative atmosphere for employees to work and members to conduct business
- Perform outbound Business Development activities
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and mindset
- Experience in management at a CREDIT UNION or BANK
- A 4-year college degree in Business Management, Business Administration or prior work related experience
- The ability to support and promote a positive work atmosphere. Teamwork is essential to our success and we are looking for individuals who demonstrate caring, compassion and the ability to get along with others.
- Excellent problem solving skills. PROVEN ability to overcome obstacles and get results.
- Strong PROVEN leadership qualities
- PROVEN ability to lead in tough situations
- Prior experience managing a union environment is a PLUS
